New labor import service under the MOU agreement “New-MOU”

Around 70% of Lao migrant workers entering Thailand under new MOU agreements are placed in industrial sectors, including food processing, electronics manufacturing, and related industries. The other 30% are employed in the service sector, such as cleaning, restaurants, hotels, and similar service-based roles.

Standard wage 13.000 up.
Maximum working hours are 8 hours as stipulated by law; any additional hours OT.
Monthly income and expenses must be balanced, ensuring that the worker can save at least 6,000 baht per month.
If accommodation is not provided on-site, the employer shall arrange for accommodation located within a reasonable distance from the workplace to reduce living expenses and minimize the risk of accident.
